The 1988-98 Chevy and GMC C1500 Cal-Trac traction bar system is a great addition to any leaf sprung vehicle.  The combination of these components yield the benefit of preventing axle- wrap while shifting the vehicles weight to the rear of the vehicle for better traction. This system emulates the same benefit as utilizing a four link suspension system.
